Application Procedure
Every student participates in an interview where we ask about their academic experiences, family background, and personal values. To better understand their character and mindset, we also present real-life scenarios and ask how they would respond. These questions help us learn how students approach decision-making, handle challenges, and view important topics such as responsibility and perseverance.
Scholarship Procedures
Step 1
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a TCS Scholarship, applicants must:
Demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and initiative
Show a clear vision for their future and the impact they aspire to make
Exhibit a commitment to self-improvement and community engagement
Demonstrate strong academic performance that adheres to the academic program standards
We seek students who stand out not only in their academics but also in their ability to lead, inspire, and make a difference in their communities.
Step 3
Review and Selection
Applications are evaluated by our Scholarship Review Committee. Selection is based on a holistic review of academic performance, leadership ability and alignment with the core values of TCS Scholarships. We prioritize students who exemplify merit and potential for future impact.
Our partnership with The Compass School allows us to ensure that selected scholars will have access to high-quality, accredited education tailored to their needs.

Ongoing Support and Growth
TCS Scholarships is more than a one-time award—it’s a pathway to long-term growth.
Scholars benefit from:

Step 2
Application Process
The application process includes the following:
1. Online Application
Provide basic personal details, academic records, and a personal statement. Your statement should reflect your achievements, aspirations, and how you intend to make a positive impact on the world.
2. Letters of Recommendation
Submit at least two letters from teachers, mentors, or community leaders who can speak to your character, leadership, and accomplishments.
3. Supplemental Materials (Optional)
Include additional documents or portfolios showcasing awards, creative work, or significant community contributions, if available.
Step 4
Awarding the Scholarship
Selected recipients will be notified via email. Scholarships may be applied toward tuition at TCS - The Compass School, an accredited virtual private school, or toward other approved academic expenses such as test preparation and extracurricular learning opportunities.
Each scholar also receives personalized academic counseling and support to help prepare for college and future career success.
